A good little thing for expanding storage when you're out of free slots on the board. I was curious to see how it would perform in terms of speed. When you start saving a larger amount of data to the drive, it holds up for about 30 seconds and then switches to a mode with a max speed of 300MB/s. It's still decent, but it's not for working with large files like 4K video, etc. It's a shame because the drive wasn't overheating at all, yet it still slowed down quite significantly. I guess you can't expect miracles at this price.
