The cooling pad is good for beginners, it has a great price. It' s simple, the size fits seamlessly on, for example, the MacBook for 2020, the colors match nicely. The NB is a bit harder to place on the mat, because the rubber mats slide a little, but in the end you manage to anchor the NB somehow. Fans are noisier. They lack power regulation. So they only run at full speed and the only thing that can be pulled is from the usb port. The end to the usb port is a bit awkward in that it is powered from the side. It depends on what kind of docking station you have, but in my case it was necessary to bend its power supply at the USB quite hard, because it was bothering the HDMI port. The cables from the fans to the USB power supply do not look completely solid, the internal tubes are partially visible and cannot be captured in any way other than with a tie.

The USB from the pad has another USB slot on it so that you don' t miss a USB slot after connecting to the NTB
