An interesting “frame“ for M2 disks. Unfortunately, it is quite ill-conceived and the design is partially sloppy. Active cooling (plate with fan) should be glued to the disc with the enclosed heat conductive tape. This will only make a frame out of the frame, in which you will hardly change the disc - I miss why someone would do it. Perhaps the frame is bought so that the discs are replaced from time to time. So I have an extra piece of tape. If you have a disk stuck (eg passive) heatsink, there is a problem: the connector and the motherboard of this frame obviously don' t count on it (I don' t know why: - (it' s completely useless). It will stuff a little harder there, but the base plate of the frame is noticeably bent. And the two worst things in the end: rather than the Chinese attaching the fan plate to the base plate with screws, there are thin plastic nonsense in the form of “screws without threads“ that snap into the plate - and for sure you will get an extra 4 when they start to break. Pffff! And worst at the end: with the screws, the whole motherboard with the disc and the fan is not mounted in the plastic-metal block at all! The only thing that prevents it from jumping there anyway is the USB-C connector, which you ideally have plugged in, so the contents of the box only jump on the opposite side from USB. A brilliant demonstration from the Chinese, how to confuse the overall impression and usability of the product with the greed, save every (even necessary) screw, and not think about what the frames are primarily used for - really not to make a flashlight for 5 thousand crowns.
Active cooling
Partially metal design for better cooling, looks nice
Execution concept - see comment above.
Extremely silly unfinished work in the design spoils the overall impression

With Apple computers (also M1) the speed is max. 10Gbps, which is given by support from Apple. For faster connection it would have to be Thunderbolt3 / 4 or USB 4.0.
Fan, speed,
Reasonable size.
Installation is inconvenient and the screw posts do not look very durable.

Cools well
Does not achieve the required speeds
In combination of Samsung 980 and macMini max 900MB/s corresponds to 10Gbs
Worse installation - fixing posts are fragile
