Excellent thingy for connecting cables, when there is no long one at hand, or just need to connect something for laymen ideal, works as an extension simply "plug the connectors and go" does not slow down the transfer. And the price is a pittance: )
In general, it is better to buy a new longer cable rather than connecting two existing ones. It is not really noticeable on the quality of data transmission, but theoretically there is a higher loss rate and the price of a new UTP cable is not so high that it is worth the risk.
