They should correct the description here; there’s no sugar or salt in the ingredients. This product consists solely of 100% defatted ground peanuts. Just mix it with water and you’re done – it tastes better than the other brands I’ve tried so far, but I’d recommend adding a pinch of salt to bring out the flavour. However, it’s still no match for classic peanut butter, but if you want a slightly lower calorie count and more protein (this has 50% more per 100g – 20g of this butter = 10g of protein), Standard butter (20g = 5g protein), so it’s great if you want to get a bit more protein into your diet. You can eat it straight from a spoon, but don’t expect a strong peanut flavour like you’d get with classic peanut butter.
