I recommend to read the manual, most people who describe low battery life is because they use the wrong batteries. I recommend panasonic eneloop pro batteries last a few months if you buy a charger so you can charge 500x. I recommend to buy a smart lock for me Yale smartlock where you can modulate the length of the lock. as I have read other reviews most of them are connected with the fact that people did not read the recommended batteries and put there ordinary ones as well I did not read the manual and I had similar problems with jamming and inability to open the door but it was solved with batteries. We use it on Airbnb and booking and it's a huge help.
