Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + EA Sports FC 26
I've only played older games on it so far and there hasn't been a problem with any of them, some of them have already gotten graphical updates. So far tried Minecraft, Pokemon Scarlet, Let's Go Pikachu and Return to Monkey Island and everything is running OK. Transferring from old console to new console OK -> but beware, it leaves the games on the old console but transfers the saves == you start over on the old console, it doesn't seem to sync the saves. So far I am very satisfied, the only problem is that my wife started to steal it besides the kids: -(
display beyond expectations
Nintendo Scarlet looks great, the response in the controller is great (grunting when jumping, flying, etc.)
the battery life isn't as bad as it looked from the first reviews, but the display will definitely be caustic
really big - for children practically only in stand-up mode

Spec bump switches, nothing spectacular. Bigger and better display, better designed joycon grip, second USB-C on the top edge for better access to the charger in handheld and tabletop mode, nicer designed cartridge cap. Hardware is again underdeveloped compared to the competition, 3rd party titles will traditionally be the worst versions, because even S2 has no more hardware. Nintendo's shortcomings will undoubtedly make up for the challenge and fun of 1st party titles, which sadly don't currently exist, except for the mediocre MK World. Also disappointing is the paid upgrade of older ports to Switch 2 versions and the generally aggressive software pricing policy that Nintendo is instituting with this generation. I think it's worth waiting a couple of years for an OLED version with a much larger selection of games.
large display and good sound
pleasant to hold, not heavy like Deck
QoL solution like USB-C on top or rubberized bottom to prevent slipping
the display is not OLED, it does not have true HDR
Nintendo's pricing policy
potential stick drift, technology seems to be the same as the previous generation
weak hardware, which only achieves the claimed 4k and 120fps in a fraction of titles, and that's with DLSS
still can't download games in the background

Improving on all the flaws that the previous Switch had. In addition to the stable stand on the back, added rubberized "feet" to better hold the console in place when playing on the go. The weaker battery life is survivable thanks to the addition of a second USB-C connector at the top of the console (you can charge with the console standing up, which wasn't possible before).
Large 1080p 120hz display
Switch 1 games load faster
worse battery life, about on par with Switch 1 V1
more expensive Switch 2 games

A JRPG machine, backwards compatibility will make this console the device with the largest selection of games ever. A nice surprise is the 120Hz screen, it's great even though it's not OLED. Backwards compatibility a bit disappointing, I was hoping S1 games would trample in "docked" mode even though S2 is in portable, it would take full advantage of the 1080p screen and the improvements to many games. Unfortunately the S2 runs S1 games in portable mode, so some still run at super-low resolution.
Backward compatibility
Larger screen
HDR, VRR, 120Hz
Quiet, good endurance
Light in the hand especially compared to SteamDeck etc
Backward compatibility disappointing so far
Does not improve existing games using DLSS
