I've had the camera for 3 years now, it's a good buy for the money. The only complaints why I wouldn't buy it again are the battery consumption and the materials used. As far as consumption is concerned, when taking pictures it is still good, but as soon as you start shooting video the battery disappears before your eyes, the real endurance is about 30 min of video on a fully charged battery. I had to solve by buying multiple batteries ( they all behave the same, it is not a defective piece). Another drawback is the plastic used in the camera body. I have the camera without any fall, but after about 2 years, I suppose the UV cracked the body of the camera, first around the connector covers, then the battery and now the whole body is cracked so waterproof without a hard cover now 0. Whoever survives these ailments will be well served by the camera for the price. Who wants more, GoPro.

Huge disappointment from the cracking plastics as an “outdoor“ camera and according to the reviews (not only on Alza) it is evident that this is a very, very common problem. The problem is not in the construction as such, but in the material used. The covers on the connectors and on the battery will crack after a long time due to the pressure of the seal itself. Definitely do not put the camera in water without the protective cover (accessories)!

parts of the camera itself are made of perhaps the worst plastics that can be made. Plastic parts crack - especially the so-called sealing caps of the battery or connectors.
A cracked camera with broken waterproof covers becomes unusable
The sharpness of the camera in low light is a DISASTER these days!
