I also have two boys, so we have quite a few "Nerf guns" at home, from simple to automatic. And this is the last one. I can compare and the older simple models actually work well. Without a magazine and preferably an electric drive. But to have the mechanism fatally jammed and damaged after a bullet gets into it in reverse is really a calculation for a children's toy, which definitely discouraged me from further purchases. I don't want to spoil the pleasure so I will buy it again and really for the last time. I definitely do not recommend this product and I will not buy any more. Waste of money.
Nice design
The mechanism is destroyed if the child puts a round in the magazine backwards. Even with a brand new toy.
