We bought it because it offered good value for money, but it’s been crashing right from the start; there’s a problem switching between performance modes, and since we upgraded the RAM to 94GB, it’s been happening all the time. It has already been returned once; the right-hand fan has started to make a humming noise and vibrate. Making a complaint with MSI is interesting because a random company will ring you to say they’re coming to collect your laptop. There’s nothing in the email to suggest that the company will collect it in the owner’s name, so you just have to hope that nobody has intercepted the complaint and that you’re not sending it to someone as a present. The repair took 25 days; they collected the item and returned it without giving proper notice.
