MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI is definitely a recommendation worthy motherboard. With carefully selected components, it provides enough performance for long-term use. After the first connection everything worked without any problems. From my short experience with the board I can highlight the well sized power supply and cooling, especially for overclocking needs. The board offers excellent connectivity for both legacy and new technologies, including integrated Wi-Fi, eliminating the clutter of cables around the PC. Fast networking, on-board LED lighting output and support for fast M.2 drives are other notable benefits. What's more, they are currently offering a great opportunity to take advantage of the MSI Cashback promotion, giving you this feature-packed board at an excellent price.
Overall a very decent base, even for gaming use sufficient. The slower boot is a bit annoying at times, but once you get into the OS, everything runs beautifully as it should. Because AM5 is still a fairly new platform, so sometimes there will be a fly in the ointment, but this will hopefully be fixed in the future with a BIOS update.
7800x3d + G. Skill Trident Z 32GB Kit DDR5 6000Mhz 30CL, it takes a bit of testing of the BIOSes + settings, the latest beta isn't necessarily the best solution. First starts approx 1m 30s, tuned to approx 8-10s, curve optimizer -35 + light undervolt. It takes a little time, but the performance and energy savings are definitely worth it.
I can recommend MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard. With the right components, it will have enough power for many years. Everything worked on first plug in and from my brief experience with the board I would praise the well sized power supply and cooling ( for OC needs ), excellent connectivity for older and newer technologies, Wifi on the board (less cables around the PC), fast networking, led lighting output directly on the board and fast M.2 drives. Another plus is that it is now for a few days still with the possibility to draw the MSI cacheback action, when the board with awesome equipment for a very good price.
In the minuses I put the sound, which is not bad, but compared to the sound of an 8 year old board from the competition it lacks something, and I have not managed to make up for it yet by changing any settings. Maybe a new version of the drivers will bring some improvements.
