We have only good experiences with Little Dutch, so I was not pleasantly surprised by the quality and workmanship of this carousel. I would have expected better workmanship for the money. When fully extended, the carousel spins for only a minute or so. The winding mechanism is quite loud, which does not completely clash with what the carousel is primarily intended to do - to calm and ideally put the baby to sleep. I would recommend that any interested parties look for another carousel.
