My old vacuum cleaner left after 25 years, unfortunately the current vacuum cleaners don't specify the power, so there's nothing to compare it to and you're buying a rabbit in the bag. I bought from a different brand and was literally furious every time I vacuumed. Neither nozzle sucked, the turbo brush perpetually clogged with hair, after each vacuuming had to be cut hair. The carpet nozzle was leaving streaks of dust. After a few months it went into the basement and I was looking for a replacement. I took Miele's advice and have no regrets, after my old 25 year old AEG it is a very comparable replacement. Hopefully it will last a similarly long time.
