The downside is that the adapter for installation in some Miele vacuums is not sold by Alza - otherwise I would give a full rating.
Financially, it is cheaper than other types of filters. We pull it out of the vacuum cleaner all black, so you can see it's picking up something.
It does not reduce the suction power too much.
