We purchased the headphones for our 10 year old daughter. They're solid, they look like they'll hold up. At the beginning she struggled a bit with the control, after all there are more cups, but it was a matter of about 2 days. I very much appreciate the possibility of turning off the light, e.g. in the evening, when my daughter listens to bedtime stories. Sounds good to me. For smaller children, these headphones are better than the pins that don't stick in their ears and they are always looking for them on the floor: -)
