The piezo lighter has a huge fore and aft clearance in the white collar, held in place more or less only by one cable.
On my piece, the control wheel wobbled from side to side (too thin a shaft, perhaps? ) and the flame changed almost from off to maximum.
The rocking of the wheel makes it difficult to adjust the small flame intensity, and you may accidentally extinguish the flame.
The flame usually did not ignite at the first sniff, sometimes it took several attempts to light it - with a bluff or the smell of escaped gas.
