Before that, I only had first-gen PS VR. I guess everything's better here.
High resolution, light weight. Independent operation without PC/console.
AR is very enjoyable despite the inferior cameras.
There is an American charger in the package, so it is useless and the gift is more of a necessity and fulfillment of legislation than something extra.

For me, as a VR newbie, it's an amazing experience and a whole new dimension of gaming.
Augmented reality is a blast
The ability to connect to a PC via wifi is great (if you have eset enabled in your firewall otherwise you won't connect)
VR games (Half-life: Alyx, Beat Saber, Asgard's Wrath 2) are incredibly addictive - this might be a downside: D
Possibility of control without drivers
I find the controls incredibly comfortable and convenient
No drawing of space boundaries (although the option is there)
Possibility to play with dioptric glasses
Weak battery but it's solved by a powerbank in your pocket, cable under the trick and going nonstop: )
If you are playing with friends or family I recommend buying a silicone sleeve so you don't get into a sweaty headset.

Quest 2 used to make me sick because of the worse side-by-side display. On Quest 3 it has been removed.
If you don't get a Strap with a battery it can look unbalanced
I expected more from AR. It kind of ripples sometimes.
Also, the serial number doesn't match. So hopefully there will be no need for a complaint 🙃

I'm switching from Meta Quest 2 and the difference is noticeable. It's another step towards better and more advanced VR/AR. TAKE CARE! I also don't match the serial numbers. I recommend you check.

I think Meta Quest 5 is going to be pretty good already. I look forward to an even sharper Passtrough, a lighter and more comfortable design and a wider field of view.
Passthrough in a well-lit room is great

I haven't found any other use for it besides washing dishes.
Despite the smaller size, I still find it quite uncomfortable. Probably the biggest shortcoming for me.

If you don't currently have a VR headset, then I would recommend buying one as it is good for the price and has a lot of interesting things that will positively impact your first experience in AR or VR.
PC VR
AR (It's certainly not perfect, but it's there, unlike the more expensive ones)
Possible to play VR games without a computer, but this affects battery life if you connect it to a computer via Virtual Studio, it runs longer on a single charge.
Convenient and pleasant interface
In the settings you can enable night mode to make the displays more yellow and not harm your eyes, adjust the brightness of the displays, enable or disable various features such as hand tracking without controllers, draw your own playing area to avoid breaking anything during the game (this thing can do this zone automatically by the way and then you will only need to adjust it slightly) and so on.
2 High resolution displays, 120 Hz and good viewing angle.
Built-in speakers with good quality (There is a 3.5mm port for connecting headphones, you can also connect it via Bluetooth if you don't like the built-in speakers. )
Comfortable and high-quality drivers
Adjusting the distance between the eyes and adjusting the volume on the helmet, also thanks to the fact that the clasp on the head is fabric, you can lie on your back with this helmet and watch movies or something on YouTube
Very bad cameras, everything through them is kind of blurry, droning and if the room is even a little bit dark, so through these cameras you can not see anything, but I personally bought this thing for PC VR, so in my case it is not a problem at all.
You need a light to track your hand movements, otherwise this helmet will not be able to function properly and eventually this feature will temporarily turn off until it is brighter and you can see your hands.
I would like to be able to exchange e.g. 1 controller in case I accidentally smash it against a wall, but I'll end up having to buy a new VR helmet at full price.
There are no overhead surveillance cameras, not that it's a big deal, but it can be annoying for some. (The drivers, by the way, can be tracked without any problems when they are behind your back or above your head, for example; it only doesn't work if you use it without drivers. )
