A classic that never gets old. My son, 8 years old, at least practiced his fingers and learned how to work with screws. Top toy for me. Better than lego

Mercury is an amazing kit with great durability and mechanical strength. Assembly is considerably more laborious than, for example, with Lego, but then the resulting models don't fall apart as easily as they do with Lego.
very durable metal kit
simple single-purpose model
the set is too small and single-purpose to build anything else meaningful from it, unless there is an additional supply of material from other sets
Requires dexterity and the use of the supplied tools to position some screws in inaccessible positions
