After the usual rubber hose with braid broke, I replaced all the hoses in the household with stainless steel bellows, which no longer need regular replacement, the life should be unlimited and the risk of leaching minimized. The manufacturer gives a warranty of 25 years (the question is its possible application: -). We've had the supply hose to our washing machine for 14 years from a competitor brand - I expect the same. Compared to a regular hose, it is much stiffer, which is logical. It can therefore only be bent in a limited and larger arc. Usually it is still necessary to turn the corners so that the hose is not improperly stretched.
