I have a little over 1/2 year old LG BluRay drive, updated the drive's burning software and firmware, but out of 5 attempts to burn data. There were 5 unsuccessful discs. Lowering the burn speed didn't help either. On Verbatim media of the same parameters, burning is without problems.
Out of 25 discs, I was unable to burn 3 discs, but it wasn't the media's fault, it was mine. I had the wrong program set up.
