I needed to glue the peeling sole on my neoprene diving boots.
First, I degreased the joint with an IPA cleaner. To ensure the boot kept a firm and correct shape, I stuffed it with as much plastic sheeting as possible. I applied the glue with a small brush and then tightly wrapped the boot in packing film (cling film would probably have been enough too).
I left it wrapped until the next day and everything is holding as it should. The bond even stretches when putting the boot on again and doesn't give way. I still have a small tear directly on the neoprene, so I'll test it on that right away.
