Despite the shortcomings I rate the belt positively and recommend to buy, for home use great, quiet operation ( even at higher speed 9km and above), large pedaling surface, for walking the possibility to lean a book and read without slouching on the couch.

The belt is suitable for domestic use. We have it in our living room in the apartment building. It's pretty quiet. You need to put a damping plate underneath it, or tape the contact points with the floor with damping tape. The maximum speed is sufficient for us.
We prefer to run (walk) outside, but when it's ugly, we don't want to go outside.
