I preferred to pay extra and get a quality sound. Clean highs, mids and makkucke basses. I don' t need a repr. what will revate and emit surfaces, cast and poorly identifiable sound. Quietly enough volume between 55-75%. Although Jack / Aux would be pleased, his absence is understandable if they wanted to achieve water resistance. Maximum satisfaction, sound beyond expectations even though I already have Major 2 and 3 hearing aids.
Quality sound, solid bass, sufficient volume
Great design
Ideally sized for travel
Bat life.
360 sound to fill the whole room - back. repr. reflection from the wall
Water and generally resistant
Connecting two devices simultaneously
Easy and intuitive operation
Detailed% battery indicator
Fast charging: 20min = 5h
Possibility to regulate bass and treble

I also have a Bose soundlink mini, I' ve used it for many years, but Marshall has a more balanced sound. Bose has classically and unnaturally picked up bass frequencies and subdued treble. I understand that most people like it. On the contrary, Marshall has a more balanced curve, beautiful clear highs, rich mids and he does not lack bass. As for those, it depends on the location of the speaker, ideally in the corner. Water resistance is a plus, but not usable. I tried to soak it, of course the sound changed as the foam soaked behind the bars and had to dry all day. These are the details. The battery has decent life. A plus is also the manufacturer, who is mainly engaged in the production of guitar instruments, and it is clear that he knows that the center and color of the tone are important in the speech. Damage to the basic SBC codec, but the normal ear makes no difference. Also, the absence of a 3.5mm connector is incomprehensible, but I expected that. Great speaker for me.

Nice
Quite long battery life

Unable to edit sound - APP does not pair
***** gold joystick control
Turning it off manually is truly an art - only about one in ten people can press the fiddly eight-function button correctly.
Even when everything is muted, the login and logout sounds are awfully loud.
I wouldn't buy again without the tweaking app

It's a stunningly designed piece with a great range in depths and buttons to scroll through songs (podcasts), which I find lacking in all other portable wireless speakers. I really wish it was more usable. Unfortunately, its sound is unusable.
great look
excellent robust matt finish, the whole is covered with hard textured rubber, front and back wall is knitted from stiff wire
USB-C connector
the centre multi-function joystick has dedicated positions for volume up, volume down and then moving to the previous track, respectively. to the following track (in podcasts, fast forward and rewind - I can't praise this)
multi-level red battery indicator that fades to red after a few seconds of pressing any button to avoid disturbing
long battery life (20 hours)
it fits in the palm of your hand
waterproof
missing AUX IN
the charging connector is on the right side instead of the back wall (we currently have the socket on the left in the most convenient place for charging)
overbassed sound (great from the point of view of range and depth, but such a sound is really suitable for listening to rock music, if you want the music to sound like from an overcrowded club somewhere in the basement)
bad highs - it's horribly overblown, you can't understand the spoken word from the radio or video at all, but really not at all (you have to turn the speaker up so much that it rumbles unpleasantly in the bass spectrum, which it downright makes up to the clear voice recording)
it doesn't have an equalizer that could turn down the bass and turn up the treble (the mobile app that could adjust the equalization is only available on the newer Marshall Emberton II)
Incredibly loud sounds when connected via bluetooth and disconnected from the source that can't be turned off (plays a guitar riff that is less loud when turned on and off; the volume of these notifications ignores the audio volume setting on the speaker)
does not support voice assistant (none)
heavy (2x heavier than the larger SONY SRS-XB23)
no lanyard holder, you have to carry it in the palm of your hand without fail
turns off after a relatively long period of inactivity and drains the battery unnecessarily (after 30 minutes? )
even though the joystick is original, it is not the most comfortable to use, because it tilts to 4 sides and the centre can be squeezed, so you have to try a bit to keep it from turning into a position you don't want it in
