The impoverished box that arrived was damaged not just by the fault of the carrier, but by poor packing due to the heavy contents moving around inside. he demolished the box in the process. At the same time, the small parts weren't in the bag because someone hadn't sealed it. In combination with the box, three feet were lost through a hole in the box on the way. The build instructions weren't much help either. IKEA gold. The instructions end with the fact that the solar panel can now be mounted. Bomb. I kind of figured it out from the pictures. It's worth it. The next tweak was when I couldn't find a hole in one of the pipes to thread the attached bolt through. So a drill and a set of drill bits required. A real treat. And the final note that the stand is not ready for outdoor use and may corrode is breathtaking. Then please, please, please, please, please paint it. Oh.
