The safe came in a cardboard box with a paper lid on. This was attached with three tightening tapes, but was not taped with adhesive. So it was not the usual "dust-proof" packaging. It gave the impression that the shipment had been unpacked. After cutting the three drawstrings, the box was already open. No cutting the duct tape.
Furthermore, the top surface of the safe contained surface defects. There was a smudge in one place, probably from repainting a scratch. In another place there was a surface irregularity. The top surface did not have an interior quality (so suitable for incorporation).
The Bakelite lock mechanism looks very cheap.
Inside the safe there is a shelf that can be placed in several positions (about 5). To do this, you need to use 4 aluminium beads. There were only 2 in the vault. But even if they were all - the shelf is basically loose and therefore rattles, not fixed. This is inappropriate given that there is no wasted space in the vaults. When placing objects in the space below the shelf, there is a risk of lifting the shelf and causing the objects placed on it to move. Very "forum". I will solve the fixing of the shelf with the DODO system (do it at home).
The fixing to the wall is just a single screw into the dowel, in a hole in the middle of the back wall, which is pre-prepared. Two or four holes would be more appropriate. However, this can be accepted - if the customer knew this in advance from the product description before purchase, which was not the case here.
I doubt the safe is floor mountable: there's no pre-made hole in the bottom.
The assembly instructions are only in German and English and only for wall mounting.
The instruction manual is universal for a wide range of products, written in small print in many languages - to the detriment of the quality of the information provided.
I am not returning the product just because it is difficult to handle (60 kg). It's worth about a third of that in my eyes.
