I expect cultured and educational content from the Magic Reading series, but this book is a huge shock to me and is unequivocally the worst thing Albi has ever published. The author was apparently trying to create some sort of “funny show for adults”, but he failed absolutely. The result isn't funny, but embarrassing, boorish and completely inappropriate for children. I don't understand how references and sentences like “what if I jump on you a little”, or terms of address like “you mouldy cat” or “stupid puppy”, or even inappropriate references aimed at Slovaks could have passed the editorial review. The voice acting for the characters and the tone of delivery come across as slimy and aggressive. Exactly the style of speech we don't want to hear from children. The omnipresent advertisement for the brand Akinu is the icing on the cake. We are paying a considerable amount of money for a children's book, not a printed and narrated advertising leaflet. I strongly do not recommend this book from the Magic Reading series. It's bizarre that something like this was ever approved and made its way to children.
