Cheap and decent sound card not only for home use. The card is suitable both for music creation thanks to the large package of free programs that come with the card (you need to register and download what you need) and for digitizing audio from external sources that have audio output (line out). It works well with Adacity, Ashampoo recorder and even Moo0. Excellent is also prg. MPC Beat which is part of the sw package download. There is also a driver for windows xp-11 that works well and works with ASIO.

I've had it for a few months and I can't get enough of it. I've had a few external cards throughout my life that I've often had to disconnect and reconnect or use an internal soundcard due to frequent loss of signal. This is just solid. Great performance for the price.
Ideal for voice recording or demos.
Sometimes it takes a while for the monitor knob to recover.

The potentiometers for input 1 and 2 gain/mute are almost completely inaudible by 9. Only everything between 9 - 10 makes a difference. 1mm of rotation makes a very big difference
