Out of the box, I plugged it into my laptop and immediately mapped it to Cubase. I appreciate the simplicity. For the person who doesn't want to fiddle with the setup and just needs to plug and play - great. Unfortunately, the mini keyboard doesn't suit me. Problematic for players with stronger fingers like me.
With Cubase they work without complicated settings
