I already have one vertical mouse from Genius at work. It's not bad, but I wanted to try something better, and most importantly, I needed to be able to switch between multiple devices with one mouse. I ordered a cheaper Chinese UGREEN mouse, which is not completely bad, but there were a few things that didn't suit me, so I bet on the more expensive but proven Logitech brand and tried this mouse. I must highly praise the gliders on the bottom of the mouse, it rides on the table luxuriously, I must also highly praise the perfect placement of the side buttons - probably the best of all mice I have ever held in my hand. But what bothers me about the side buttons is that they no longer have silent click, which is a shame. Other things that aren't quite right about the mouse are the scroll wheel, which has a sideways play, and a clicking sound when you touch the wheel. Smartwheel is great, but it could be spun a bit further, anyway, better than nothing - I rate it rather positively. Another thing that deserves praise is the sophisticated software, including the Flow function, but again there is a compromise - the buttons can be remapped to something else, but no longer to an easy switch that selects which device I am connected to. This problem is somewhat solved by the Flow feature, but only up to the point where I need to connect to a device where I don't have app installation rights and am without Flow and again reliant on mechanical button switching.
In the app, you can even set gestures for the buttons, a really addictive and luxurious thing, plus you can scroll horizontally when you press the side button - only when using the installed app. I rate the mouse rather positively, but I haven't quite got used to its rather straight shape (both Genius and Chinese Ugreen are a bit rounded) and it also feels very small in my hand, so I'll be returning it and keeping the Ugreen, which doesn't have an app for gestures (which is not possible to install on the other ntb I'm connecting to anyway), but I have a better grip on the mouse, silent click for all buttons, and if it dies after a couple of years, it won't hurt so much: )
perfect software
silent click
smartwheel - a bit contradictory
good positioning of the side buttons
weight
very good gliders
rubberized body
side clearance for the wheel
side buttons do not have silent click
easy switch (switching between devices) only on the bottom
probably more for very small hands, I have a medium and I find the mouse small
Verified purchase - review from a price comparison website
I believe in the reliability of Logitech products, which have a hard time finding competition.
- for a guy really smaller size
- very quiet, accurate and fast
- the silence and the response from the buttons is almost annoying, because one does not have the classic acoustic response of clicking
