Replacement for the obsolete G403, which is defacto a wire version of this G703. On G403, the wheel came off after a couple of years, so I would have expected a longer life. So I wonder how it will be with this one, but it will probably be plus or minus the same "average" quality.

Battery life with lights off satisfactory (but compared to the M330, it's woefully low)
Battery life is calculated in days and weeks, not in years as with the M330
Old microUSB connector, I would expect more USB-C on a mouse today

I upgraded to this mouse from its immediate predecessor, the G403. Both mice are great to hold and have an excellent HERO sensor, but this one is wireless, which for shooters eliminates the annoying cable friction. I really like the 10g weight in the pack, which adds a little extra weight to the mouse. Fits beautifully in the hand For me 10/10
