it is not possible to use the Logitech unifying receiver (each gamepad needs its own receiver in the USB port)
in Windows 8 you need to reinstall the driver after every second PC reboot, otherwise the system will not recognize it (just click on driver update in windows device manager)
once in a while, the signal drops out and stops responding while playing
trigger buttons (LT, RT) could put less resistance, after longer playing your fingers get tired due to the smaller size of the controller

it's easy to get used to (just like the PSX)
super responsiveness (responds instantly and accurately to the press)
ideal for Steam Big Picture mode

switching between DirectInput and XInput modes
in 80% of cases you don't need to set up anything and just turn on the game and play (for unsupported games you need to manually load the driver)
it can be operated with large hands (hands don't hurt at all with prolonged use and I don't need to use the keyboard for fully supported games)
lack of Logitech's Unifying technology (it just has to take up one USB port because it runs in its own dedicated frequency and is paired hard with the included reciever)
maybe it would be nice if it had less backlighting on the buttons
no option to turn the controller on/off using the HW button or contact when inserting the reciver into the controller like other Logitech mice (never know when it will switch to power saving mode)
