The battens are quite thin, even under a load of about 80 kg they sag. The wood is poorly processed, some of the battens are at risk of injury or shattering of clothing. One of the legs was cast obliquely, the late ones are not touching it properly. The holes for the screws in the bracing were not drilled correctly, some of them were protruding into the places where there were gaps between the battens. The bottom reinforcements did not fit the same way, we had to adjust them. I have my doubts about how long the bench will last. Otherwise it looks nice. It's not bad to sit on, but I would have liked a longer seat. Smaller family members don't complain.
At first sight it looks very nice and what is very good it sits well on it. It looks and sits just like a classic old bench.
If you fix the minor flaws, I think you'll like it a lot.
