When the oven of a furniture chain went to the eternal hunting grounds after about 7 years, I was looking for a replacement.
I had experience with LG's built-in oven from earlier days and when I found that even after many years, it still offered an oven with almost identical controls, fast preheating and rising, it was the obvious choice.
A product weighing almost twice as much as competing products can only mean one thing. More insulation and material.
And really, there's hardly any heat radiating into the surroundings, the fan doesn't blow overheated air out of the cabinet area. You will appreciate this especially in summer, when using the oven does not turn the kitchen into a sauna.
