As air circulates constantly in the room, this reduces the perceived temperature by an estimated 5 °C. Really quiet fan - we mostly use it on stage (out of 12) and the airflow is sufficient and it's almost inaudible. Another advantage (according to the instructions) is its maintenance - from the back you can dismantle everything necessary and clean it nicely, so that years of deposits are removed. The fan has enough power even at full speed - then it is not so quiet, but still quieter than other fans.
