I highly doubt it's a 300x zoom. It's more like a 300x digital zoom, so what you can't see at 150x you can't see even at the highest focus. I tried putting a blood sample on a backlit slide on purpose, I can't really see any blood cells. I haven't done an exact measurement of the zoom yet, but I will later, for better objectivity. So far it is just a nicer microscope from china that we bought for 450Kč, the zoom is practically identical only the chinese camera was 1.3mpixel
