For the money, you get a decent pocket monocular that basically has no significant flaws. The construction is perfectly adequate for curious touristy viewing of the hills on the horizon. Focusing distortion is slightly noticeable at the edges but isn't too distracting. I'd consider the weaker 8x magnification version, because it might have less distortion and still offer enough zoom. That was the first thing that came to mind after trying it. I didn't understand the criticism of the hand strap at first, because it seems just right to me and attaching it to the tripod thread cap seemed like a good solution, but in the end I used it to attach the lens cap, which has no strap at all. To be precise, the front lens cap is attached to the body with a rubber strap, while the eyepiece cap only has a loop, and attaching it to the hand strap seems the obvious thing to do. I don't regret the purchase, but next time I'd probably choose the 8x version. For the price, it's brilliant.

I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. Not bad at all for the price. The picture is completely fine, even if the lighting conditions are a little worse. The binoculars are light and hold up well. For me, it' s a great binocular, especially when I consider how much it cost.
If there' s one thing to complain about, the wrist strap is quite useless. I can' t imagine wanting to have binoculars in my hand all the time. It would rather need something for the neck, but I made that myself.
