You can install the Lenovo Mouse Suite utility from the manufacturer's website, allowing you to adjust, for example, the sensitivity or functions of the buttons. It is required to scroll sideways in Excel by tilting the scroll wheel. It is possible to set the cursor speed to slow down while holding the Shift key, making it even easier to move it more precisely in a small space when needed. This can set a higher base cursor speed for normal use.
Someone may find it a little smaller, which in turn may suit someone else or when carrying it in a laptop bag.

relatively quiet, but older generations had switches even much quieter
accurate, scans on just about any surface
older generations were rubberized, this one has only a matte semi-rough plastic surface. unlike neoprene, it doesn't chafe, but it's not as comfortable in the hand. and of course it's dramatically cheaper to produce
they have abolished the Velcro on the cable, now they just put a piece of binding wire
