The design is restrained, doesn't feel cheap, and the laptop overall looks more mature than I would expect from a gaming series in this price range. The construction was also a big surprise - according to the product photos I was worried about the creaking plastic, but the reality is the opposite. The notebook is solid, nothing is twisted, nothing creaks anywhere and gives a solid impression. I also highly praise the layout of the ports, where most of the connectors are located at the back. Thanks to this, cables are nicely hidden during normal use, the workspace remains clean and nothing gets in the way on the sides - a detail that anyone who often has a laptop connected to an external monitor or peripherals will appreciate. Unfortunately, in my case, serious technical problems related to hardware and graphics drivers appeared very soon. The laptop repeatedly crashed into the "blue screen", with the most common error codes being DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE and PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. A typical scenario was that I locked the computer and when I unlocked it, a blue crash followed every time. The problem was not only Windows related - the problems persisted even after reinstalling the graphics drivers (DDU) and indicated a possible communication error between the graphics card, drivers and operating memory, or an unfortunate combination of specific components. Of course, I performed basic and advanced diagnostics of hardware and RAM, checked Event Viewer, analyzed system dump files and tested different versions of graphics drivers, but even these steps did not lead to a solution of the problem. At the same time, I checked the experiences of other users and found that similar blue screen and graphics driver issues occur quite frequently with this model, across different hardware configurations. This is a type of fault that the average (or even advanced) user is unable to fix on their own and requires service intervention.

The errors described are very often related to incomplete installation of system and graphics drivers, especially if a clean reinstallation of the system was performed. For these models, it is important to have Lenovo Vantage and Legion Space installed and updated to ensure proper drivers, firmware, and communication between components, or it is necessary to download and install all drivers completely from the support site (https://support.lenovo.com/cz/cs). The absence of even a single driver can cause problems. If the problem persists after a complete update via these tools, a service check is of course the correct solution.
