HW and equipment probably the best laptop in its class. Which is confirmed by reviews on the net.
As usual with Lenovo, terrible management software. It can't even lower the screen refresh rate when unplugged (from 165 to 60). This little thing adds about 1.5h of battery life in non-gaming operation, which is a lot for a gaming laptop. Fortunately it can be solved by 3rd party SW, there are several solutions.
I bought this laptop because the combination of HW features allows me to have a quiet machine at low load (Optimus, the latest generation of Ryzen. ). Unfortunately not in the case of Lenovo. The minimum fan speed is set at 1800 for their "silent" profile and there is basically no way to change that. Unlike other manufacturers, Lenovo does not provide easy access to fan control, most of the available software cannot even display the speed. So even if you make a low performance profile in Windows with an underclocked CPU (which is enough for normal Office work/YouTube with great clarity) and thus the fan might run below the audible limit, you're out of luck, you're still running at1800 which is audible and annoying. The only solution is a 3rd party application LenovoFanControl, which bypasses the Lenovo API and can adjust the fan curve, so you get a wonderfully quiet machine. The problem is that it is no longer developed and there are stability issues on the latest version of Bios and Windows. And no other app in the world can set the minimum below the audible limit, which is below about 1300.
In a few days of use two random BSODs in idle state with only the browser running. Which may be due to Win11.
