Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6H Storm Grey/Black Metallic
Performance - more demanding games like Mount a Blade Bannerlord, Hell let loose or the new Age of Empires 4 run beautifully and smoothly without stuttering (60-100 fps)
Quiet - Even when working harder, the fans are quiet and cool well.
Battery life
Backlit keyboard - You can set one of three colours or you can combine them and the keyboard will change colours and flash at the same time. (Death to epileptics) but aesthetically it looks good.
Three power modes that can be easily changed during playing using keyboard shortcuts (Economy, Auto, and Performance)
A nice and clear program from the manufacturers (Lenovo vantage) where you can manage and control the performance, utilization of individual components (CPU, GPU, RAM) but not only that.
Small and lightweight - Just perfect for travel, play and work.
PC as such is quality and powerful for the money it is a good investment (I recommend)
Design - few and small holes for air intake and exhaust, so the PC tends to overheat a bit during more demanding tasks recommend to buy a cooling pad with adjustable angle degree. every month, max 2 months, blow a little dust off and switch to power saving mode when idle. I'm giving one star down for this.
PERFORMANCE - unbeatable configuration of CPU + GPU + RAM in this price range.
DISPLAY - is great. Originally I thought that QHD resolution is unnecessary for a laptop, but now I would not be able to return to the usual FHD.
QUIET - during ordinary work it is really not audible at all. From internet discussions and another gaming laptop that I returned, I understood that this is not of course. Of course, it hums a lot when loaded, but that's normal and it's not an unpleasant sound, just fans. Besides, it's not slim like some competitors, so cooling shouldn't be a problem.
I can connect it to a monitor with 3440x1440 resolution via USB-C>DisplayPort reduction and it runs at 144hz, even though it doesn't have Thunderbolt. It is enough that the output supports display port alt-mode.
Ports are USB 3.2 gen 1, some competitors have slower
Quality construction, backlit keyboard, numeric keypad, nice design that does not overdo it.
Charging via USB-C - you need a charger of at least 65W and of course USB-C charging will not be enough for full performance
You can manually turn off the webcam from the outside of the laptop.
Unlike the Intel variant, it doesn't have Thunderbolt 4 - I personally don't mind, because it can still handle 3440x1440 144hz connection because it supports display port alt-mode.
It's quite a weight - both the laptop and the charger. This is understandable and it more or less tells me something about the performance and quality, it is just necessary to take it into account.
Potential problems of some Lenovo Legion pieces with coil whine. A lot is written about it in various discussions. I originally bought the Intel variant in otherwise the same configuration and had to return it, it made an unpleasant rapidly repeating sound that disturbed even my wife on the other side of the room. Even in ordinary work without power. Some say it's normal, but that's nonsense - when I compare it to the silence of this version, it's heaven and earth. Fortunately there was no problem to return it to the alliance within 14 days after a few days.
The outputs from the back are a bit stuck but nothing terrible
