I purchased this laptop with the expectation that it would offer performance for gaming and casual deployment - and it delivers on most of that. Performance is within expectations, which is reflected in the titles when playing: all the games I've tried in Full HD (Forza Horizon 5, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, GTA V, Battlefield 1, Destiny 2, Red Dead Redemption 2) run at maximum detail without any major issues. The seamless switching of power/performance modes with Lenovo Vantage is a big advantage. Silent / Auto / Performance give different performance - e.g. Silent mode keeps graphics at around 45W, Auto at around 75W and Performance at the aforementioned 115W. This is practical for different scenarios (quieter traffic vs. maximum power). At maximum performance, the laptop is very noisy and needs headphones. When silent again is not audible 🙂 Display - not bad, but it's not top either. BIOS limitations - you can't set the RAM speed like you can on desktop PCs. When playing at resolutions higher than Full HD, it's not so easy. In summary - the Legion 5 15IRX10 is a good choice, it does what it promises, especially if you want to gaming in Full HD at high settings without compromise. If the display was better quality and the BIOS more configurable, it would be even better. Next time I might pay extra for a better panel if I wanted higher resolution or graphics work.
