I took advantage of the advent sale and bought this set with a 20% discount. Still, that's a lot of money for a LEGO set. However, I have no regrets as this set is very well made. The elaborate details of the cliffs and the cave under the lighthouse, the elaborate lighthouse keeper's house and the lighthouse itself is just a blast. The Fresnel lens for focusing the light beam is the icing on the cake. Along with the LEGO Medieval Forge and the LEGO Airbus H175, this set is one of my all-time favourites.
