Replacement for a 10 year old ordinary digger for a few bucks. The investment I recommend cooks much better. It doesn't sputter like the cheap rice cookers around here.
Perfect rice in 35 min - no worries
More functions e.g. low sugar, porridge, soup, etc.
There is a large LCD display on the lid, but it does not show the remaining time after the program is started (until about 10 minutes before the end of the program it pops up - until then there is a kind of dashed line running around the perimeter)
Really long cooking time - 35 minutes in the shortest program is maybe 3 times longer than our old rice cooker (but the rice is much better)
Due to the negative feedback in the comments on the clarity of the manual, I have watched the youtube video that describes the use of the ryzovar - just use the QR code that is on the cover of the manual in the upper right corner.
