The rice can be put in a strainer and this will not scratch the Teflon of the base pot. This is also how low sugar rice is cooked. Thanks to the blood sugar sensor, I have tried and tested this on myself.
When you tweak the usage and your own procedures you get excellent rice
What is missing are instructions on exactly how to use it to cook low carb rice and overall how to set up what.
You can't stop and start again. After removal from the power supply. the current will continue to complete the program
Like this. I wanted something that would cook rice well. I have something that cooks rice well. That was my primary concern. Other features are a bonus that I may or may not use. Because honestly, does anyone know what the difference is between rice cooked in 35, 45 or 70 minutes? Three different programs, what is the difference between fast or slow cooking is somehow not mentioned anywhere. Not to mention the "clay pot" function. What's that in effect? 😉 I'll have to test it, but I'm not sure if my mouth will be able to identify it any closer. 😂 I'd give 4 and a half * (which I can't), the half minus for the crap mentioned above. The opaque measuring cup really got to me, the inability (or inability) to turn off the temperature maintenance intelligently annoys me a bit. But going back to the beginning - it cooks the rice perfectly and what are we kidding - that's the point! 😉
looks good (sure, it's not the most important thing 😉)
rice perfectly cooked (I haven't tested more than that yet)
easy to wash
maybe more features are a plus (if I ever try and understand what they mean 😁)
sympathetically relatively small dimensions
opaque measuring cup with lines on the outside, either I'm stupid or whoever designed it
after cooking, the temperature maintenance of the food is switched on - I haven't yet figured out if it can be cancelled more intelligently than just "pulling it off the wall"
manual about nothing, see above
the display doesn't show the remaining cooking time all the time, but only towards the end (to be honest, I don't know yet how many last minutes it starts showing (ten? )), the rest of the time there are just commas running around. Which strikes me as just as intelligent as the lines of opaque measuring tape on the outside, especially since the temperature hold time is shown constantly. I'd really rather know how long I have left to cook than how long I've already cooked.
