In short, I recommend not buying kitchen stuff from Alza if they don't respect what the customer orders. But since I hate wastage and the watering can works so far, I won't claim it unnecessarily (you don't want to wait for 30 days like Alza has a habit of doing). Unfortunately, it doesn't do them any good, because it's not the first time they have had problems delivering "new" products. So there probably wouldn't be a problem with the product itself, it's just that it's probably on the side of Alza that has a problem with storage or shipping of the products offered.

Luckily it wasn't intended as a "gift", otherwise I would have been embarrassed if someone opened it under the tree.
