I wanted a cheap replacement for an older outgoing "multiroom" speaker. I often listen to various shows on the internet and would like to hear them well not only at the PC, but also in the other room (even if separated only by a curtain). However, even when connected with an audio cable, the speaker plays with an audible delay, making me feel like I was in a station lobby. So the speaker ended up in a box in the closet, without any current use.
Considering the price, it plays decently
Power via USB-C (the socket should be more durable than the micro-usb used before)
Even with the signal from the audio connector, audible delay compared to conventional analogue boxes
Lack of USB-flash file playback option
Bluetooth only 4.2 (not a major problem from my point of view, but nowhere on the website is the Bluetooth version mentioned).
After all, I would welcome a classic 5.5x2.1mm power connector, which is mechanically more durable

the bass is not bad at all
nice decent design
there are quite a few jumps in the volume control, so in some settings it plays quietly, and after one press of + it's too loud again. Too bad it's not smoother.

It makes a faint noise when switched on even without a connection. It doesn't affect reproduction, but if you are sitting close, have sensitive ears and nothing is playing, it is disturbing.
