A few reasons why I chose this coffee machine. The machine includes a coffee grinder, is semi-automatic and has a small footprint. Since we travel a lot by car, I wanted a similar coffee maker that we can take with us to different accommodations. After measuring I have to confirm the size of the product 15*36*29,5 cm. And now, purely for coffee making, the machine can only make two sizes of coffee...espresso and lungo, which I think is enough for most coffee lovers. The same goes for the strength of the coffee...there are only two. You can prepare coffee either in automatic mode, when the grinder makes the coffee and according to the set intensity it pours it straight into the drawer, the tumbler comes out, tamping the coffee and within a moment water flows. Or the second option, namely to pour ground coffee directly into the drawer and press the coffee intensity on the touchscreen to ground coffee, again the tumbler comes out and tamp the coffee. When you're done, you pull out the drawer and use the knob on it to squeeze out the coffee bud and here I have to write a little negative. The puck can never be completely emptied as from the lever...a lot of coffee remains in the drawer, you have to rinse the drawer properly. Thus, it is clear that the automatic tumbler cannot sufficiently tamp the coffee. I guess it's just a matter of getting used to the cleaning system. And now to the taste and quality of the prepared coffee. I didn't expect any miracles from the machine, as it is a semi-automatic coffee machine, but I have to say that it makes absolutely the same quality coffee as an automatic coffee machine for 30 thousand. Don't compare coffee from a lever coffee machine and a semi or automatic coffee machine, the lever will always be better (my opinion). But for me, the coffee from this machine is good. I have one reservation about the grinder and that is the grinding coarseness setting, which is done inside the grinder. In conclusion, when I compare the quality of the coffee prepared from this coffee machine for 6,5 thousand. and a similar coffee machine I have at work for 30 grand, I have to admit I can't tell the difference. For me, this coffee maker for home use or for travel to accommodations absolutely sufficient.

the coffee machine has a very nice design and small dimensions. the simplicity and speed of operation is a pleasant surprise. as a big problem I take the necessity of manual cleaning after each drink, but it does not work at all as the manufacturer wished and it is necessary to use a brush or finger to extract the coffee from the drawer. unfortunate is also the location of the water horn - from the back. I recommend only for small families without big demands on milk drinks.
After a few years, we decided to upgrade our capsule coffee machine to a bean-to-cup machine. This one impressed us mainly because of its size - it fits in a smaller kitchen. Choice of two sizes and intensities. Coffee preparation is easy, the display is clear, except that you can't set your own cup size, but we like the preset sizes. After each coffee it is necessary to empty the coffee and wash. I like that ground coffee can also be used. We found the brief instructions for descaling under the QR code attached to the coffee machine. We definitely recommend this coffee machine.
The Quickstart guide links to krups.com, which you can't get to. It redirects to krups.cz, where entering sa4001e0 does not find any product. After a while of trying, when you find this coffee maker, clicking on manual leads to error404. I can't find the manual via VPN even on the US, GB, DE sites, I won't try any more.
