Krups has focused on simplicity – the appliance is pleasantly compact, doesn't take up much space on the counter and is controlled intuitively via a touch panel. Its greatest strength is the Milk Maestro technology, which creates a surprisingly thick and stable foam from milk. A huge plus is also the hydraulic tamping system, thanks to which the coffee machine cleans itself completely from the inside and you don't have to painstakingly dismantle and wash anything by hand.
But there are some compromises. If you prefer large mugs, the default volume of the milk-based drinks might be a bit small for you, so you'll have to make your coffee in two goes. The coffee machine also doesn't have a separate hot water nozzle, so you can't make tea with it, and it can't use pre-ground coffee.

Very compact for limited spaces

The lid for the coffee beans seals them in quite well and you can't smell them, so hopefully they'll stay fragrant for longer.

when cleaning the coffee machine, the bottom pull-out tray also fills up, even though I have a larger mug placed under the nozzles. I would prefer all the mess to be poured into the inserted container.
You have to be a little more careful when inserting/removing the milk module into the bottom container, but the plastics are sturdy. I would strengthen the attachment of the milk container to the coffee machine nozzle.
With other coffee machines, I'm used to water running through the nozzles and a cleaning cycle running when I turn them off. In any case, as a precaution, I run a nozzle clean before every shutdown.
I would perhaps have preferred a transparent container for the coffee grounds, so you can see the contents more clearly.
The cover of the bottom pull-out tray is a bit difficult to open, you have to do it carefully, but it's not a problem.
