Absolutely non-existent pro-customer approach on the part of Alza and probably also the watch service. The watch was supposed to be a Christmas present for my six-year-old daughter, but when she turned it on, the display flickered - instead of joy, there were only tears. We advertised the goods right after Christmas.
After almost a month, the watch came back as "repaired". The watch came completely flat and my daughter couldn't wait to turn it on. It was a shock to discover that they had exactly the same fault. Obviously no one checked them, nor did they show signs of disassembly or repair (the service solved an obvious hardware problem by supposedly playing the software, according to the log! i.e. they didn't even look at the watch - I don't even believe the watch was sent anywhere, the log is from the alza). Alza, according to the operator, does not even bother to check the result of the service (they say it would prolong the claim - how could it when it took nearly a month?!? ) and simply sends the broken piece back to the customer.
After my emphatic exit, I was offered a refund (I could have used the return until 31.1 anyway), but we need a working watch, which is out of stock. Incredible customer service. I hope that we will see a working item/gift at least until Easter.
