Kingston FURY 32GB KIT DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 Beast Black EXPO
Only satisfaction. I'm lucky that I bought the RAMs just before the crisis for 3 thousand and a few bucks. At the current price of 9299, - it's insane and for a person who is building a new computer it's a stab in the stomach. Hopefully, prices will stabilise.
Unfortunately I can't force anyone, but I would encourage people who may be considering upgrading during RAMaggedon to do so. Remember the days when a 1080 cost around 15k and today 80-class cards cost twice as much, while the die area has shrunk - thus nVidia is gouging us even more than back then? If we keep buying RAM with prices this absurd - just like during the crypto boom people bought GPUs through scalpers at completely absurd prices, even if the AI bubble bursts, prices will still hold because manufacturers and vendors will know we're willing to pay that much. Of course it speaks to me as I'm shopping at, almost, the best of times, but consider this an appeal for consideration, not an effort to drink wine and preach water. Those who have a DDR4 platform and don't need to upgrade shouldn't, and if they do - it's ideal to try to stick with DDR4 platforms now and "just" swap for the best CPU possible - Intel may become relevant again for gamers thanks to DDR4 support up to Gen 14. The product itself, apart from the hideous price tag, is beyond reproach. Works, beautifully stable, EXPO on the first try (9800X3D + ASUS X870 MAX GAMING WIFI7).
Perfectly functional
Decent, without unsightly RGB that just unnecessarily degrades performance/raises the already absurd price
Absolutely, but really absolutely, insane price. I was buying for 4500 and I was already bent out of shape, for the current 8.5k I wouldn't touch it.
I didn't need RGB (CPU cooler with double finning covers a significant part of RAM slots). It is necessary to activate AMD EXPO in the bios for 6000MT/s, otherwise they have 4800MT/s. Very satisfied
Reliability(Kingston)
Low profile (approximately 35mm)
